Cancellation and refund
Cancel a booking made through Cheap Fare Flight and claim what you are owed, with a clear estimate before you commit.
For bookings made through Cheap Fare Flight. Airline rules and fees apply, and nothing is changed until you approve a written quote.
Request a callbackContact usWhat you get back depends on why the trip is canceled. If you decide not to travel, the airline's fare rules decide the outcome: some fares are refundable, many give a travel credit instead, and some return nothing beyond certain taxes. If the airline cancels your flight or changes it significantly and you do not accept the alternative, U.S. Department of Transportation rules generally entitle you to a refund. Where federal rules require a refund, you get it.
Before you cancel, we check your fare and give you an estimate: the amount expected back, any airline charge, and any service fee of ours, so you can compare canceling with changing or keeping the booking.
Once you approve, we submit the cancellation and follow the refund through. Refunds go back to the original form of payment, and we tell you the expected refund timing when we file the request.

Questions about this service
The airline canceled my flight. Am I owed a refund?
If the airline cancels or significantly changes your flight and you choose not to travel on the alternative it offers, federal rules generally require a refund to the original form of payment. Tell us and we will handle the request on a booking made through us.
What counts as a significant change?
Federal rules treat things like a substantially earlier departure or later arrival, a change of airport, or added connections as significant. We check the details of your change against those rules.
Will I get cash or a credit if I cancel myself?
That depends on your fare. Refundable fares return money; many others give a travel credit; some basic fares give neither. The estimate we send says which applies.
